In accordance with Indian government regulations, all international attendees travelling to India to attend WSAVA 2027 must obtain a valid e-Business Visa (e-B5 V) – FOR ATTENDING AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE/SEMINAR/WORKSHOP.

Before applying, please carefully review the eligibility criteria and the list of countries whose nationals are eligible for an e-Visa. If your nationality is not eligible for an e-Visa, you will need to apply for a regular Conference Visa through your nearest Indian Embassy or Consulate. For a regular visa, the first form needs to be filled online on the Indian Regular Visa Portal. A printout of this form along with relevant documents and passport needs to be submitted at your nearest Indian Embassy or Consulate.
Please note:
- Accompanying persons who are not attending the conference should apply for an e-Tourist Visa.
- The e-Conference Visa may be used for conference attendance combined with tourism.
- Tourist visas and visa-on-arrival schemes cannot be used for conference participation.

Government Clearance Letters
⦁ Political Clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)
⦁ Clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) – Only for participants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan, foreigners of Pakistani origin and Stateless persons

The information required to prepare your Invitation Letter and obtain the necessary government clearances will be collected during the registration process when you submit your visa support request.
Once the organisers receive your passport details and supporting information, we will apply for the required clearances from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
